A Scholarship for students with disabilities may be received by a student who has a disability certificate. This is regulated by Section 184 of Higher Education Act and Regulations of benefits for students of the University of Warsaw.
The benefit is paid only at the student’s request for the academic year. It is not automatically renewed.
Procedures of application
Register with the Office for Persons with Disabilities and provide a certificate of disability (original for inspection or certified copy).
The next day, log into USOSweb of the University of Warsaw and under the tab: “For all – Applications” fill out the ‘Application for a scholarship for persons with disabilities for the academic year 2024/2025’. Follow the further instructions.
Note: You must repeat the application procedure each time, at the beginning of the academic year, or if your existing certificate has expired and a new document has been issued!
Dates:
Submission of an application in a given month means that the benefit will be awarded for that month. An exception to this rule applies to applications submitted in September – the benefit will be awarded starting in October, in accordance with the Regulations of benefits for students of the University of Warsaw.
